The Cleveland American Hungarian Friends of Scouting held its 58th Hungarian Scout Ball on Saturday, May 10 in the ballroom of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. This year’s debutantes, Aleksa Bogardy, Viktoria Ponti, Zsuzsi Szabados and Lilla Turoczi, along with their escorts, opened the evening’s festivities. Also participating in the opening dance in their decorative court gowns were last year’s debutantes Erika Chmielewski, Monika Gyerman, and Andrea Orszag. Before midnight, the Hungarian Scout Folk Ensemble presented their traditional court dance, the Palotas. Panni Tabor and Tibor Baki guided the guests through the evening’s program while Harmonia provided the night’s dance music.
