More than 300 guests participated at this year’s Scout Banquet sponsored by the Cleveland American Hungarian Friends of Scouting and the local Hungarian scout troops. The banquet was held on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at the St. Emeric Church Hall. The delicious luncheon was prepared by our scout chefs Judith Gyorky and Krisztina Tabor along with their talented scout and parent assistants. During the program we recognized our new scout leaders, listened to and viewed a brief presentation of last fall’s Scout Folk Ensemble Gala Performance, and learned about the fundraising campaign for this year’s 50th anniversary of the Sándor Sík Scout Park. Many of those in attendance went home happy with a great prize from our raffle.
