Hungary’s President, Katalin Novák, visited Cleveland on Sept. 27, 2022. Among other programs, she participated in the gathering of the local Hungarian scout troops at the Scout Center and joined in on some of the various scouting activities. Pictures from the Scout Center can be seen here.
After her time with the scouts, she visited St. Emeric Church next door and welcomed the local Hungarians living in the Hungarian diaspora in her speech in the ceremonial hall of the church, where the Hungarian Scout Folk Ensemble of Cleveland also performed.
