Our dear friend in scouting, Laszlo Zala, passed away in an automobile accident on Monday morning, Oct. 6. Mr. Zala was born in Colombia and was Scoutmaster of Hungarian Scout Troop 22 in Cleveland from 1966 to 1968. The American Hungarian Friends of Scouting presented him its White Stag Scout Leader Award in 2003 for his many years of service and support toward the Hungarian scouts in the greater Cleveland area.
Mr. Zala is mourned by his loving wife Judith, their children Judie, Marianna, Laszlo, Steven, Eva, Emmi and their family members, the scouts from Troop 22, and all the scouts from the large Hungarian scout community. Rest in peace Mr. Zala.
