The American Hungarian Friends of Scouting cordially invites you to the 67th Cleveland Hungarian Scout Benefit Ball on April 27, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Woodside Event Center ballroom, located at 5025 East Mill Road, Broadview Heights, Ohio. This year’s ball awaits its guests again with a delicious dinner and many surprises! The highlight of the ball is the traditional presentation of the debutantes. This year five couples will open the ball. Our guest of honor is Michael Horvath, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for his longstanding commitment to Hungarian scouting in Cleveland.

There will be new musical entertainment this year. The seven-member Hepcat Revival Band, will provide the music with lively tracks enriched with swing, jump blues, jazz and more. You can also dance to traditional waltzes, polkas and folk music. The Hungarian Scout Folk Ensemble will perform their Court Dance during the evening. Special and valuable raffle items await their winners.

All those over the age of 16 are welcome! Formal attire is requested, black tie and evening gown. A good time is guaranteed! Tickets are available until April 23 and at a discounted price until April 19. In addition, discounted tickets for tables of 10 and youth tickets are also available. Proceeds from the Scout Ball will help Cleveland’s scouts attend this summer’s 2024 Hungarian Scout Jamboree. Please join us as your participation will also support the educational programs and activities for our Hungarian youth!
