This milestone was celebrated at Bocskai Radio’s year-end dinner on Saturday evening, December 9, 2023, in the St. Emeric Church Hall. Congratulations on the 10-year program, which appears on the first Sunday of each month at 3 p.m. on the local WJCU 88.7 radio channel, shared on Facebook and the world wide web: https://www.bocskairadio.org/category/musor/cserkeszradio/
As part of the ceremony, two books were presented: a book by the director of Bocskai Radio and one of his colleagues, entitled With a Microphone in the Footsteps of the Scouts (a selection of interviews presented on Scout Radio) and the first volume of Being Hungarian in America (which is also a selection of interviews from diaspora life).
The main organizer and host of the private evening for about 90 people was Zsolt Molnár, director of Bocskai Radio. He and his small team made sure that all invited guests were seated in the right places, had fun all the time, watched a cozy Christmas show, partake in meaningful conversations, enjoy a radio surprise and have a really delicious dinner. Finally, there was a cheerful book signing at the end of the evening.
